      This is a topic directory presented in OPML.

        There are several topic folders comprised of my Top 50 feeds from my Technorati Favourites.<br/><br/>Note that feeds may appear in multiple topics.

      In each topic folder are 2 nodes; an OPML (blue icon), and an RSS feed (orange icon).

        Each OPML topic contains a batch of RSS feeds from my favourite blogs in that topic.<br/>Each OPML topic also contains an RSS feed of mixed posts from all the RSS feeds in an OPML topic (commonly known as a river of news).

      To read a topic folder...

        Click on the yellow folder

        Click on the OPML icon

        Click an RSS icon

        Click on a story title

        Read the content

          Each story title has a hash icon (#), click on this to take you to the actual blog post.

        Also note that you can open Grazr in a new window, and change views to outline, slider, three pane...see the icons on the top right.

      To subscribe to an OPML topic in your RSS Reader, just right-click, copy shortcut on the name of the OPML topic (eg. Library - OPML) and import into your RSS Reader (this enables you to bulk load lots of RSS feeds in one go).<br/><br/>Otherwise you can subscribe to the content of all the RSS feeds from an OPML topic in one spliced RSS feed (eg, Library - RSS), again just right-click, copy shortcut and add this RSS feed to your RSS Reader.

      The OPML for this topic directory is available in the address bar at the top.

        Try using right-click, copy shortcut on any OPML topic (eg. Library - OPML) and pasting it into the address bar and pressing enter.

      An OPML can contain many types of content eg. HTML links, RSS feeds, OPML include, text, etc...<br/><br/>NOTE: OPML include is when a node in your OPML is an OPML url itself.

        Most common uses for an OPML is a Reading List, this is where every node in the OPML is an RSS feed (eg. Library - OPML); easy to import a batch of feeds in one go into your RSS Reader.<br/><br/>Sometimes to import an OPML into an RSS Reader it will ask for an OPML file or OPML url, once you have completed the import you can read your RSS feeds.<br/>Later on though, your RSS Reader will not know if any feeds were deleted or added to this OPML url as it is not in synch will the OPML you imported (you may not care as you are happy with the RSS feeds you have already imported).<br/><br/>Some RSS Readers (eg. BlogBridge) actually subscribe to the OPML url (instead of batch loading all the feeds), you will still see the RSS feeds in your RSS Reader, but if the host of the OPML you are subscribe to makes any changes (adds/deletes) feeds, this will reflect in your RSS Reader.

      Here are the river of news spliced feeds and the public clip blogs from my Google Reader topics/tags

        The posts from these feeds are coming automatically straight from my RSS Reader tags,you can also tag items to curate your own manually curated clip blog topic feeds.<br/><br/>And you can mix it up...I can tag an item as "folksonomy" even if this post came from a feed from my "blogs" tag, and this item will appear in the "folksonomy" clip blog.
